Backstory:
Khan grew up in Australia and spent many years surfing and being a lifeguard.  And with the experience and endurance background he is poised to make a huge impact on the event.  The training of many Games athletes you'll notice there training shift about 6-8 weeks prior to the Games to focus on building endurance and capacity for the Games.  This is because as a general rule Regional tests shorter capacities and the physical make up of the different Regional make up make it very difficult to test elements out in the elements.

Seen in past years, the Games feature longer endurance tests of fitness.  This man has the unfair advantage of not having mere weeks to get used to these longer events but he can relay on muscle memory and background to help him cruise through the event.  I'm not saying this will be easy but don't be surprised to see his name in the front of the pack come the end of Wednesday.  What do you think?  Leave a comment below and let the games begin.  I'll be conducting a live blog throughout the week so check back after each day.  Some people have been asking about me covering a few events so we'll see what happens.
