Something to consider-  creating WODs for overall conditioning are definitely beneficial for metabolic conditioning but without understanding  the goal of proper range of motion, stability, controlled mobility and technique have beneficial is it in the long term?

This goes back your personal goals.  No fitness regime is wrong.  But if innovation and increasing one's strength, flexibility, and endurance to an athlete's peak performance- programming is key.  Ask a coach from our facility or any gym and ask them their secret.  Ask them for their rational of their program.  That is way every week either on out blog in class we high light the nature of the theme of the week of WODs and strength movements to achieve the we are after.  And we are not making some crazy reason like we want you to be in the Next Dwayne 'The Rock" Johnson, but reason based on increased functionality in your life and we have the evidence to prove it.

Sidenote: No disrespect to the Rock.  I love that guy.

Remember creating WODs with clear intent creates an eventual plateau.

Use Deadlift numbers from 9.8.14 numbers.  Start from the lbs. from the second set of DL strength portion.

WOD for 9.11.14
Every minute on the minute for max rounds
1x Deadlift (2nd Set lbs. #)
Add 30 pounds each successive minute, continue until failure.
